The Albyn Pharmacy Lipotrim program is designed for overweight people (with a BMI of 25 or more) who are serious about losing weight while under the supervision of a trained pharmacist. We are one of the only pharmacies in the north of Scotland that run the Lipotrim program, and it proves very popular with people serious about losing some weight.
Lipotrim involves the use of nutrient-complete total food replacement products, developed by qualified nutritionists and experts in weight management, and proven to be safe and effective in helping you lose weight.
The unique foods keep you healthy whilst losing weight by providing the full range of nutrients your body needs for a normal, active life.
Once enrolled onto the program, Albyn Pharmacy's trained staff will be there to offer support, so you won't be alone. Flavours of shakes include Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate and Chicken. If you find Lipotrim isn't right for you, there are a number of other options available. For those with a BMI of 30 or over, medication such as Orlistat may be useful. You can speak to your GP about whether this may be right for you.
